Contemporary Mixed-Media Artist

Koni Boros is an Irish-Hungarian contemporary artist based in Cork, Ireland. Her current practice centres on tactile, non-objective works that often blur the boundaries between painting and object. This direction emerged gradually, as her previous visual language could no longer answer the questions she found herself returning to.What remains after everything has fallen apart?Making these works has become less about explaining the world and more about making sense of it, one object at a time. Drawn to what remains rather than what is lost, Koni's work searches for quieter structures, with exposed construction, edge, depth, and shadow becoming as much a part of the work as the painted surface itself.Her work seeks to exploar the possibility that something essential remains once everything unnecessary has fallen away.

4 hours · Up to 8 participantsA more in-depth session with time to explore, layer, and develop the work further.Outcome:
An 80 × 90 cm collaborative artwork on canvas, created with the group and refined and finished by the artist to ensure a strong final piece.
It will be coated and delivered ready to hang.
